It's been confirmed today that women's boxing will be included in the 2012 Olympics. This topic has caused mixed responses in the boxing world.
Frank Warren has stated he thinks it is wrong because he doesn't like the idea of watching women possibly getting KO'd

So how does it make you feel? Surely it's upto the individual if they want to box?
 
If we accept the premise of women's equality - and I think we do, nowadays - then it's their choice if they choose to get into a boxing ring and knock each other out.

Besides, it's already being done on an "amateur" level outside many a nightclub of a Friday night...

Whenever this topic comes up, I always remember seeing Barry McGuigan commenting on a fight that had just been shown on TV. Basically he didn't think it was right, and then came out with the classic comment "I mean, look at that, she hits like a girl" :D
