Windows XP

I've just found in the Customize part of the Taskbar & Start Menu properties a list of some programs I've installed & since deleted. I find thisd rather shocking as I'd have thought if you uninstall something or use add/remove programs in the control panel they will wipe totally.

Does any kind techy person have a clue of how I can wipe this list.

If you need me more details about what I'm on about PM me.

Cheers!
Richard

Go to Control Panel then 'add and remove' It will the comprise a list and you can delete from there also If your problem is that the Shortcut icons are still there no need to worry some uninstallers dont remove the short cut but dont worry the programe has been deleted just go through the start menu and delete what you need to.
The policy I use that if you keep your computer tidy and organised you can save so much time i.e keeping your music in 1 folder pictures in another just so theres no clutter in the system.

good luck
