Will Tilson do a speech?

shrimperton

Manager
Should Tilly do a speech?

I think he should, it seems common practice now that the manager gets on the pitch and says a few words to inspire everyone for the play-offs, but considering he didnt on saturday not sure he will now!

Would be nice to hear what he has to say after the season we have had, to the fans and not just radio listeners

We could hire Delia?!?!?

Was it not the Doncaster at home match last time Ron came on and asked us to "shut them up"?

No, it was Bristol Rovers I think.

Maybe Tilson couldn't speak to the crowd on Saturday due to his touchline ban? You never know the intimate details of what can/can't be done with FA rulings like that!

Think Tilly and Brush should do the Hucklebuck before teh game to get all the players and the crowd in the mood for rock 'n roll football.

We need to bring back the marching bands at Roots Hall.

They had one at Tranmere the other week, get them playing the Great Escape etc., and the ground might actually have an atmosphere before the game.

oh dear, I hope no speech.

not sure we would get too much value from:

"It's like I say, every game is a cup final, like I say, we now gotta go up to their place and do them, like I say.........."

No thanks

Give Mr Wheeler the mike for a rousing farewell speech.................and then with his closing line 5 mins before kick off being: "And so, I now introduce to you, singing live at Roots Hall our anthem 'Blue', its Alison Moyet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

We'll then **** all over Donny 5-0 no probs.

UTB:clap:

PS: "It's all gone quiet over here" (no play offs again for the Tractor Boys) :) :D :finger: :goodun:

Tilly always makes me cringe a bit in interviews etc, so I for one would not request a speech.

How about these suggestions...

1) Tilly and Brush stand in the centre circle before the game and start performing the Macarena to get us going

2) They perform Laurel and Hardy slapstick routines in the centre circle

3) They have a one on one game against each other using the whole pitch

4) They perform with the Bluebelles
