As a female I really don't know where she is coming from as I have the best of all worlds. I enjoy shopping but LOVE my football. Why don't you get her to come along to some games. Make a big thing about it and even throw in a meal etc - you never know she may enjoy it and then it is problem solved
Maybe I will give it a go. A half cooked burger under the East Stand Blacks before KO will put her in the perfect frame of mind for the game!

You've got no option, you need to cry next time she brings it up; her guilt will eat away at her.

Play the long game my friend...
When we were living in Cyprus I thought my son and I couldn't go to the play off final because of my job. To her credit she bought our tickets, booked flights and arranged the time off work for me. I have to admit to shedding a few tears when I opened the envelope with everything inside. I must have forgot that she does have a heart!

Step 1) Raise right hand to position above left shoulder back of hand facing outwards.

Step2) In a loud firm voice say the word GERTCHA

Step3) Wave aforementioned hand in her general direction in a beligerant no nonsence manner.

Step4) Graciously accept appologies.

I have to admit I have never tried this but would welcome comments as to how well it works.

Or of course try previously mentioned idea with wine and choccies. More expensive but probably safer:smile:

In the olden days the woman would have been beheaded for heresy, could you imaging also a woman saying to an Hells Angel bike member hes not allowed to go to his club or out on his bike.Im sorry my friend but your wife needs to understand thatSUFC is your first wife and takes precedent .Barring this my friend , may i suggest to you that they still pour concrete at major building constructions.:smile::hilarious:
