We have sold out, which means just under 10,000 home fans, plus however many comps the club have handed out, because they don't include them in the official attendance. I think for a match like this, we would have come close to selling out the proposed New Stadium (22K).

Don't bank on it, you lot will be in the North Bank, which has a barrel roof. The acoustics sound great in the stand, but not that much gets out onto the pitch. In fact none of the stands project noise well onto the pitch, each stand will be absolutely convinced that they have outsung everyone else.

Another reason for wanting to move, our Chairman assures us that the new stadium has been designed to give superb acoustics. I really hope it does. The ground is projected to be ready for the season after next, but frankly I would be suprised if they make it.

All boards (or at least everone I've ever visited) has its share of eejits who shoot from the hip, but the level of debate is often quite high on Shrimperzone, and there are a number of fans from other clubs who post on here regularly (even Col Ewe ones :flamer: :p ). If you are coming down for the match, travel safely and have a (mostly!) good day.
