Sorry if there is already a similar topic but does anyone know who is playing today in the trial match?

No idea!
But first third, Red 5,6,8 and 11 looked decent. The goalie was Fumbly Fred In Goal For The Red, couldn't catch it. The cherry voltage goalie looked quite decent, a few good saves and catches. Cherry 4 was decent with the ball at his feet but seemed bereft of pace. Chinese no.7 (Egg Fried Rice!) looked poor. His corner was Wai Too Hi.

Rhys Taylor was the number 13 keeper in goal for pinks.

From Crewe forum about him:

Decent shot stopper, but if your after a keeper who can communicate with his backline, command his area and collect crosses, this aint your man.
Lots of potential, but didn't set the place alight. Surely a better player than he showed us. Decent shot stopper but as JJ said, not a great talker.

He's learning the game though and will have benefited from the season with us, so I'm sure will go on to have a decent career.
Was at Rotherham during the end of last season so maybe recommended by Cresswell?

He was indeed. When talking to Cresswell, I asked him did he know any of the players, and only said Rhys Taylor, who he did play alongside last season at the Millers. When asked about him, he said he is a good keeper, and was on the bench for a Champions League game whilst at Chelsea, so can't be that bad.

Was probably the best keeper out of the three playing in the trial games, IMHO.
