Myself, it was a toss up between Barrett, Francis, Barnard and Moussa.

Went for the latter in the end.

Always a bit of a risk to get any Southend players name on your shirt. Told my son he was not getting a players name on his new shirt!!!

I only have had one shirt with a players name on it . A Ronnie Pountney Testimonial Shirt with Pountney 8 on the Back, They were made for the team and a couple of Extra were made up for the testimonial committee.
I gave mine to the Trust for the hall of fame a few years later

I've got lots of little versions of me on my shirt after an unexpected exit angle whilst viewing certain niche websites.

I havent got a name on my shirt yet, I might opt for Scannell but could also go for just my own name, saves dissapointment if a player leaves.


Over the years every player ive got on my shirt is no longer at the club.
