I thought it might be a good idea to do a whole load of polls on what different software people use so that we can have a "Shrimperzone recommended" list of software??

Anyway, the next bit of software I want opinions about is office suites? So which one do you use, and why??

Open Office at home. Office 2007 at work.

I used to have a open license ISO 2 disk copy of MS Office 2003 and made numerous copies for various people (don't ask how I got hold of it :whistling:) and was looking for it only tonight but it's gone walkies somewhere :madman:

OpenOffice all the way, MS only has the advantage because a) it's slightly better and b) all the schools use it so people want it for full compatability.

plus Excel isn't as good... I use a number of add-ons for Excel which don't exist for OpenOffice and it's a pain to get VBA working properly with it
