Where would you sit in the new stadium?

Perfect views everywhere so where would you sit in the new stadium? My guess is the big stand is the South stand, do we want an end ? Would you sit at club level if there is such a thing and you have enough dosh?

Opposite the tunnel is the North? how does that sound?

A seating plan of the new stadium should be the official site.

I realise the staduium has yet to be approved or built but that isn't the point.

I'm guessing that most people would go for the seat that closest matches their current preference at Roots Hall?

Sitting in the South Upper, I'd be looking for one of the seats behind whichever goal. I'd sit around half-way back in the tier to get some height but one thing I'll certainly miss from the South Upper is the close view of the pitch!

On the bench.

I'm approaching match fitness now, I think I've impressed the gaffer and I just can't wait to get back out there and impress.

Any truth in the rumour that you've guaranteed Tilly that one month from today, you will be able to stand side by side with any striker in the country?

Behind the goal in the newly named ShrimperZone stand at the opposite end to the Sid Broomfield Bank

The big stand along the side is the west stand is it not ?

Thats where Id be looking to go, half way line fairly high up.

Yep, in fact you will struggle to see any of the new stadium form the south upper.

Sorry, slow day at work

Assuming that we get planning permission and the views will be great from wherever you sit, atmosphere is the key. So before all us singers run off and buy seats in different parts of the ground (as is currently the case at Roots Hall) we should get together on here before it opens and ensure we create a section in the new ground where we all buy.

Imagine how loud it could be if we all sat together!

Arsenal have Red-action, which is an area deditacted to a group of people there who want to create atmosphere etc.

Our new ground should have a blue action area (see what I did there ), possibly behind the home end goal.

Perhaps the club should lead the way and designate certain parts of the ground as "vocal sections" or "singing sections"...

(curse you Jam Man)

Yep, a great idea and something maybe the Shrimpers Trust could put to the SUFC board in future liason meetings...

Also, if a singing section is dedicated, it should be right next to the away fans enclosure.

Agreed, but hopefully they'll have two areas - one behind the goal and one down the side of the pitch. I like to have the best view of the game AND make some noise.

Actually thats not wise!

Arsenals is actually at the opposite end to the away fans.

Firstly it is less aggressive, and secondly the red-action area is meant to encourage the rest of the ground.

If both were next to each other you could find all the singing is down one end
