Always think Pizza's are a bit expensive when you look at the cost to make them compared to say a Chinese.[b said:Quote[/b] (Uxbridge Shrimper @ Nov. 15 2006,17:28)]Pizza all the way thanks.
Possibly. But you get all the food groups:[b said:Quote[/b] (Dave the Shrimper @ Nov. 15 2006,17:39)]Always think Pizza's are a bit expensive when you look at the cost to make them compared to say a Chinese.[b said:Quote[/b] (Uxbridge Shrimper @ Nov. 15 2006,17:28)]Pizza all the way thanks.

Funny that - it's just how Mr Blue Missy tries to justify it - almost the exact same words![b said:Quote[/b] (Uxbridge Shrimper @ Nov. 15 2006,17:48)]Possibly. Dairy - the cheese
Bread - the base
Fruit - the tomato sauce
Meat - pepperoni/ham/meat of questionable origin
Veg - mushrooms/peppers/etc
Well that's how I try to justify it anyway
Good call. I went to a Thai restaurant in Perth a few weeks back, my first taste of Thai cuisine, and I was an instant convert - it was superb![b said:Quote[/b] (Bob Cratchitt @ Nov. 16 2006,10:39)]I cannot believe no one as mentioned Thai, the best food that has come from the Orient, not swimming in oil, nor full of MSG.
Give me a Jungle Curry or Gaeng Phet Pet Yang or even Pla Raad Prik with Pad Thai. Yumm
Not exactly renowned for Takeaway food though. I can't think of many in Southend - in fact I can't even think of one.[b said:Quote[/b] (Bob Cratchitt @ Nov. 16 2006,10:39)]I cannot believe no one as mentioned Thai, the best food that has come from the Orient, not swimming in oil, nor full of MSG.

totaly agree[b said:Quote[/b] (overseas shrimper @ Nov. 16 2006,05:07)]Fish'n'chips for me. Living abroad helps you appreciate proper cuisine.
What restaurant?[b said:Quote[/b] (Hong Kong Blue @ Nov. 16 2006,11:18)]I'd rather eat out than have a takeaway, as the food is normally better from a restaurant rather than from a takeaway. In fact I had a pretty decent meal in a Lebanese restaurant last night. Don't often eat in Southend, but the Thai in Hamlet Court Rd is alright. Like Bob C said duck curry is the future.
Obviously after a night on the beers the only possible food option is the mighty donor kebab with extra chilli sauce. Mmmmm.
