Just phoned up to get my tickets for the MK Dons match. 1st in the queue got served within seconds and transaction completed within the minute. I dont usually book tickets by phone but that was absolutely superb. It mystifies me after hearing stories of queing for over an hour and in a queue of 60 odd?Is everyone phoning a different line or something?  A massive thumbs up from me.

I rang up at 5.15pm last night after i was trying all afternoon. I was 10th in the queue but waited patiently and finally got through about 5.45pm.
The lady was helpful and efficient as always. She said she'd never seen a day like it and that two staff were off sick so that didn't help.
It looks like they were just having one of those days yesterday, everybody has them!
It's certainly no need to moan as usually the staff at the ticket office are excellent.

Got tickets for Scunthorpe and Hartlepool today from the clubshop and the lady there said they've never been busier, what with MK tickets and all the home games they are getting inundated with requests by post and by telephone.

Scunthorpe has nearly sold out and she told me that tickets for Bristol City at home are selling fast, so I had to buy one for that as well because no way on this earth am I missing that one!!

If that game nearly sold out, then Iam expecting 10'000+ (include 200 away fans) on friday.

To get 10,000 home fans would require the club to release part of the north bank to home fans (a la Yeovil last term), which I can't see happening to be honest.

Hopefully the attendance will top 8,000 though.

thats actualy quite a good point. Although in previous years the club hasnt been in a situation where more seats in the ground are required by home fans, it appears that they have shown more lienancy in separating home and away crowds.
