What will Freddy go for.

DTS

The Business
Our 25% sell on that we reportedly have may just end up giving us what I always felt was a true price for him.

Now we have 25% of a future fee and with Freddy doing what we always knew he would - I wonder what he would get in the market now.

Set league one alight so far and two international goals in three games all be it for a pub team called Wales.

What do you reckon he will be worth come the end of the season when I am sure he will be off if Wolves dont go up.

If he keeps banging them in for Wolves and Wales then I can see him go for a similar price to Nugent - about £5-6m

Its worth remembering that the sell on clause is around 25% of any PROFIT made... So it's not 25% of the total fee recieved. The fee we recieve could fluctuate, at the moment it's £1.5m, but there are clauses. One of which is certain is the £250k should Wolves go up, but it was rumoured here somewhere that there may be a £250k International appearance bonus which we would've already recieved now, but i think the club would've made some mention of that.

Let's say Eastwood bangs them and gets 20 goals this season, yet somehow Wolves **** it up again. His price will be around £6m. They paid us £1.5m, so the profit is £4.5m, 25% of that is an extra £1.125m making the fee we recieve from Eastwood £2.625m. More than we recieved for Sir Collymore in the end.

I shouldn’t start counting your chickens just yet lads!! He is on a four year contract and is reportedly very happy in the cosmopolitan capital of the world!

If you don't get promoted this season he'll be looking to move if Premiership clubs begin to show interest. He was very happy here last season, yet soon became unsettled after his goal against Man United...

Yeah I think we should sell him now actually for £1m.

I can't see this being the case as he'd already been called up for Wales when we sold him, and only sat out his first game in the squad due to his back injury.

Wolves would have to be pretty stupid to give us money for an inevitablity...

I suppose maybe it could relate to number of international appearances?

The eventual fee from the sale of Stan (including goal bonus, promotion bonus, international cap bonus plus the % of his sale to Liverpool) actually earned us around £4.2m in total. Although when he signed for Forest we did give Palace £400k for that transfer.

As he was happy at Southend last season until we came down.

Now he is mixing with the likes of Bellamy and the world class defender that is Danni Gabiddon how long before he wants to go to a prem club?

Sooner rather than later hopefully.....

Yep we will sell him, we are skint and he is unhappy at Molineux. Not to mention his contract situation. Derby have us over a barrel!!

:fury:

If you dont get promoted and a decent Premiership side come in see how long he remains happy for....

Personally I think Wolves is probably his level for now and as long as they are challenging he will be happy enough there.

Problem you have Wolf1 is if he does as well for you as he did for us bigger teams will come knocking and contract or not that barrell will still be there....
