What was going on with the West stand cafe today?

They were telling people you now can't have onions in your burger or hot dog due to health and safety reasons?

WTF?????

Shocking organisation - new caterers apparently - they want sacking straight away!!!!!!!

I hope this is rectified immediately...

They didn't have enough anything and eventually closed for business half way through half time pulling down the shutters. I was one of the lucky ones, or so I thought, as I managed to get a hot dog. But they weren't the usual hot dogs, they were disgusting. I'm not sure it was even cooked properly. They had no onions, not ketchup and only water to wash it down.

Honestly I feel it was disgraceful. Sack them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quite ironic seeing as some on here were heralding a new dawn in catering excellence last week. I must admit to being puzzled as to how onions are an h & s issue?

The South Stand food bit wouldn't give me onions either, said we don't do them anymore!

The burger was once again disgusting and the only noticeable difference was they were all wearing Pukka Pie t-shirts! Still putting the cheese underneath the burger which always gets on my nerves and the burger was about as tasty as eating cardboard. I really enjoy football food but its just a shame its only on away games.

I was one of the luckier ones as I managed to avoid such gastronomic delights. Pukka Pies were also on sale in the Far Post Bar I remarked on this to one of the barmaids who suggested that I should avoid at all costs.:puke Advice I was more than happy to take heed of.

The food at roots hall is and always was disgusting, overpriced rubbish.
The answer is eat before u go

I don't know, when I first got my season ticket in 1999-2000 season I thought the burgers were spot on and I always looked forward to having them.

I thought the complete changeover of the catering was from the start of next season? As it said that the rest of this season would be a review period?

Hopefully the review will bring up the result that the food sucks and needs replacing........... Not that I've ever eaten at the Hall thanks to the opinions of the Zone. ;)

no coke or bottled drinks either...........how much did the club lose today in revenue?
also took ages getting to the front of que to be told that...........lots of people just left it.

and in the bars why cant they sell plastic bottles a lot quicker to get a drink than waiting for them to pull 1 drink at a time.....so many people disapointed in the half time break...........
1 bloke waited for a pint then when he finally got it they closed the bar.........lol.......im not that worried about how long these part timers are waiting but in that time he could have bought maybe 2 bottles so how much is the club losing?
