What paper gave the best coverage

SUBBlue

Manager
I spent 1/2 hour in the newsagents perusing the papers yesterday (well, the Sport & News of the World).
Who reported the best on Saturdays match?

Sunday Mirror had a great photo of Wille Guerret on his back looking agonisingly as the ball nestled in the corner of the goal as Fred wheeled away in celebration.

Am I being totally sad or does anyone else also keep a scrapbook type thingy of newspaper coverage of our more memorable games (eg. the game at Swansea when we finished with 8 men after Mark Warren scored the winner)

I've got a few newspapers that I've kept from major sporting events (big England wins, the Rugby World Cup, the Ashes, etc). I've got some from last season covering the LDV Final, the Play-offs and the parade. Today's papers will join the ones covering the Col******r games in this season's collection.

Always spend time in th newsagents (library) sorting out the best reports to read-Stuart of Newsbox knows the score

the sun on monday has a supergoals supplement which is good. got a couple of articles cut out, my fav being a half page spread focusing on che when he scored his 2nd goal this season, legend!

i have a centre page spread at home from when barry fry went to Birmingham and we thrashed them 3-1 at home... i think jason lee scored and there was a huge picture of him with his pineapple hair and his arms in the air... shame we couldnt finish that season... who took over.. Peter Taylor... where did we go? downwards. Where is he now? England u21 manager... hwat happened there?

Some good photos in the Echo. More in tonights as well. As for nationals, liked the Times and the League Paper. Don't read the tabloids so haven't seen them.

I bought a copy of The League in Swansea on Sunday morning (I survived the night, man there's some in-breds in Swansea), and the front page picture was of Rory Fallon celebrating his second goal.

Match report I thought was a bit harsh on us, made it sound like we were hanging on by the skin of our teeth.
