What it takes to stay up!

Lest look at the situatio and try and be positive. After all Macclesfield were in a similar position only a few weeks ago and have got it on track.
For me we are not playing at all bad we still try to pass our way to goal and are no way the the shambles of a side we were when we was relegated from the old div1(championship) last time.
So hopefully we will find the cash tonight and get an in the box style forward like Col U have in Cureton along with a midfielder who makes incisive passes and attacking box ending runs from the center of the park not like the too all familiar sideways or backwards pass.
Dont get me wrong i dont think there is too much wrong we do play some good stuff but we are predictable and Jcr is our only attacking direct outlet at the moment Jcr has been great of late but i just wish he would run for the box when picking up the ball rather than towards the corner flag as im sure with his quick feet we would pick up the odd pen.
We do however need to move the ball far quicker and attack in numbers at pace instead of letting the opponents get behind the ball.
Honest we are not that bad and i believe if somehow we could pick a win everything would start falling into place.
So hope for a good night in the transfer market and Get behind the lads tomorrow it can be done!!!!!

We need 2 equally adept goalscorers in the squad. With Freddy's departure looking imminent, I'm not confident anybody else in the squad could pop up with the goods.... Maybe Hooper but its a tall ask of an 18 year old.

Bring in McDonald, O'Donovan and someone experienced and i reckon we'll have a squad capable of staying up.
McDonald seems to be have an eye for goal and played alongside someone more experienced, like Horsfield, could strike up a partnership to save us. O'Donovan is in the Doyle mould and can play on the wing... which could free up Gower to cut inside when he is at his strongest.

The squad is crying out for a attacking centre midfielder who knows where the goal is, and if Freddy goes, which looks likely, then at least two strikers with good pace and movement off the ball, something we sorely lack at the moment

Surely we dont need another central midfielder with McCormack ?

attacking midfielder, IMO neither Maher or McCormack are this, no matter how good they are they are too similar

And why buy McCormack if we are going to replace him, he has been excellent.

How many attacking goal scoring midfielders are there that would be better than him ?

if we want to stay up i think we simply have to get two strikers who wants goals with experience and an attacking midfielder (possible winger) i think good signings will keep us up! tilly its up to you. now or never:;):

Agree with the strikers MattyTS, but I dont think we need an attacking central midfielder, but maybe another winger to mix it could do. Maybe even a right back.

possibly does seem a position that we are having a little bit of trouble with at the moment!

don't suppose you know or think what time the ticket office is open tomorrow? want to get a ticket for my girlfriend!
