Question What do other clubs / players / agents think of SUFC thesedays?

CC51DAS

President
It seems likely that the way RM 'managed' the players last season will have a bearing on how easily he will persuade quality players to come to the Hall next season.

But in general terms, how high is our 'cred' within the football industry thesedays ?

Are we seen as a club on the verge of acheiving great things or a club run by a Chairman who can't be trusted ?

If you were an agent, would you recommend to one of your star prospects that a move to Roots Hall would be good for his career ?

of the two agents I know, one loves them because they always take a look at his youngsters he brings over, the other has no professional opinion as he only deals with 2 premier league players but wishes them all the best.

its a business -

a good repuation in business is .......easy just pay your bills, honour your agreements, fulfill your obligations and pay whats owed -

a bad reputation in business is easy, don't pay your bills, don't honour your commiitments, don't fulfil your obligations and don't pay whats owed -

- for an employer there is one golden rule - always pay the wages - on time and pay everythings thats due -

if i was an agent punting league 2 players around the clubs I know my player would get paid (and i would get my 10%) at every single club except Southend -- even Stockports administrators will honour players contracts - even Darlington paid up whats owed -

RM thinks he can help himself to the customs and excise money, to the PFA money, to the season ticket money, and to tyhe players wages ...... to55er

How has he been "helping himself" to any of those funds?

I'm sure our stock is down but there will be several hundred players dropping out of the League this season. Players will prefer to come here than face unemployment.

It takes a long time to build a good reputation and minutes to lose it....Ron IMO has lost any credibility....whether he can regain some only time will tell.
