Last Saturday in my local bookies, I guy won £ 7,500 on a football £ 500 outlay bet
Yesterday he laid out £ 5,000 on Real Madrid/Liverpool double, Liverpool to win single and PSG to draw to cover in case Real Madrid didn't win
Easy come, easy go I suspect
And he's not a regular punter in the shop (Obviously elsewhere maybe), just someone who got lucky and has gone to his head, stating this is a lucky shop for him. In fairness the staff did try to talk him about the size of the bet and would he be better going smaller and keeping the winnings for a nice holiday or put it away for a rainy day
At least he didnt play the machines and waste it that way in ten minutes, he had 90 minutes of enjoyment if you can call it that as a punter :winking:
Must admit I didn't watch the games on TV, but was keeping a close eye on the scores via mobile, first time I have not had a punt but enjoyed the updates in a sadistic way
