Hi,

I've been sitting in the West Stand for years and have always collected my tickets from the North East corner ticket office and walked round to Shakespeare Drive before the game.

However the last 3 home matches I've been to I've ordered my tickets online and when at the ticket collection have had issues where my tickets aren't waiting for me and I've had to show my confirmation email so the lad can reprint the tickets.

I've noticed that recently people now seem to be picking up tickets over at the West. Firstly does anyone know if all West stand tickets are now sent over there (which admittedly would make sense) and also whether they have a printer over that side if re-prints are necessary?

Thanks in advance,

I am pretty certain there isn't a printer over there, don't know about the rest of that though ahead of today's game for you.

Vs Mlllwall I was in ewes but tickets were in NE corner- when I got over to west some guy was trying to puck up his tickets and was being told to go to NE..

Given they could cope at NE and many missed start it does raise question whether using West for pick would be a good idea..

Ok thanks for the thoughts. I did doubt whether they had a printer over there and don't wanna have to walk back round if there's any issues.

It's bad that I'm expecting to have problems today but 3 games in a row is more than a coincidence

When we move into Fossetts perhaps this will involve collections machines- insert the card you paid with and out come the tickets. Very simple and perfect for fulfilling on line ticket purchases for use at a venue- see Odeon etc., trains and so on and so forth. You can collect from the machine that suits you and issuing takes a few seconds. I am sure this must be what is planned :whistling:...

naughty step for you being logical in conjunction with our ticketing system

They used to have one of these in the ticket office. It stopped working and then disappeared.

Can you purchase tickets for the west from the west ticket office now? Seems the only logical reason for it being open if not for collections... Although with Southend United you never know so thought I'd ask the obvious. I always buy mine for the west from the ticket office and walk round. Would make life a lot easier if I can get then round the west office instead.

Yep, had personal experience with this, the tickets used to print out ok, other than the barcode which was shrunk and meant you couldn't actually get in without any bother.

On a side note - Millwall game I ordered tickets online for collection (didn't trust the Christmas mail), they turned up in the post, not a massive problem but why ignore what I requested?

A day later I ordered my Donny tickets, this time requesting posting. Did they arrive? Of course not! So I had to queue to find they were at the collection point, they hadn't even bothered to post them.

Next time I want tickets posted I'll ask for collection and vice versa!

I think you can buy for the west at the west entrance if you are paying cash only.
