West Stand opening for cup games?

West Stand regulars, what are your thoughts on cup games and stand opening?

Hi All,

This poll is just to gauge opinions re opening the West Stand for cup games as I have stopped attending if the West is closed.

I have tried the East and South stands but don't like either of them.

I wonder how much potential revenue the club may be missing out on by not opening the West for cup games.

You know what to do....

I tried the South Stand lower once, and that was a terrible view, never again. However, I think the South Stand upper is a great view, especially the front or second row.

My option not on there.
I'm attending cup games and happy to go in the North Bank.
But would rather the West was open.
Exactly, I know a lot of West Stand regulars who are more than happy to go in the North Bank. And some, like me, East Stand regulars who are also happy to go back to our spiritual home.

Going in the east for this game. Love my west stand seat tho. Mainly gutted because there is no eat street in the east! Trying to work my my through the menu 🤣🤣🫃

Usually sit in West and would rather stay there... but I suppose it gives me and the lad a slightly different view from the other side! Didn't enjoy having to walk past tons of seated people during the last game though, so have moved a couple of rows across for Sittingbourne.

West stand available for the Sittingbourne game. But Block Q and only for Away fans (see my post in the ticket news thread)

I didn't go to the last one, but we are doing this. Tickets in the East Blues which is the only bit of the East Stand I will sit in.

Not keen on South Lower: the ants view is no view.
BUT anywhere else depends on stanchions; are they called that in the East?
Many a time, Paul Clark has said he didn't see what happened because of a pillar/stanchion in the East.
Imagine!
You don't see something crucial, like a goal, because of the way the ground was constructed 70 years ago.
I'm not blaming Sid: what he and his six helpers did was remarkable, and standard for the time.
So, South Upper for me until the Hall gets a much-needed revamp. North Bank, second choice, mostly borne out of nostalgia.

Honestly had a season ticket there a few seasons with my Dad and my son when he was about 7 or so. We were three rows from the back in the South West side, and had a great view of players celebrating goals, corner takers etc. Never worried me that the opposite end was hard to see - you always get that if you're at a goal end anywhere.
