'Lo all,

Thought I'd start a new topic to avoid commenting on the "bOrient bashing" ones....

Hope you're all recovering from those hangovers! If you haven't got a hangover there is obviously something very wrong with you!!!!

The (wrongly) disallowed Yeo goal aside, I thought you were easily the better side throughout yesterday's game and the season as a whole, and deserved to be promoted.

Obviously I am disappointed to be missing out on a decent derby game next season, but lets hope that it will only be a year's rest, before we join you up there and reignite the good-natured rivalry we share.

Congratulations on your achievements.

ATB,

JS.

ps. The Sunshine Bus to Carlisle will be the highlight of next season, before you start taking the mick

cheers Jonny, we didn't play well ( until extra time ) but you know we deserved it after being in the top 3 for so long and ballsing it up on the last day!

I suppose your 'local' derby will be Barnet?

Well to be honest it was one of the worst games I've ever seen in terms of quality, but that has more to do with the pitch than anything else.

re: Barnet - I've always seen Southend as a rivalry of convenience tbh. I mean, the school kids get a bit over-excited about it, but there's not exactly much vitriol in it is there? Your 'proper' derby is Col Ewe, and ours is West Ham where there's a bit of venom knocking about.

Barnet are our local toy club, but at least it's a London derby, rather than a game against the side in the division that just happens to be nearest.

Here's hoping for an Orient-Wet Sham derby in the league 2006-07. C'mon the Preston!

Long live the Sunshine bus
One of the good bits of the weekend has been the banter and good wishes from so many different club's fans. Long may it continue!

Well, I've seen quite enough rubbish at Brisbane Road and away this season to last me a lifetime. Even the fact that I get free tickets isn't going to get me back there again.
I'll be joining the Southend in League One.
Hopefully the players will be as generous with their freebies as the crappy Orient players are.

I'm afraid I have to agree with paul morant. Since I stopped supporting Celtic, then Aston Villa, then Arsenal, and started supporting Orient I've never seen such a crock of poo.
The only thing that has kept me interested at Orient is the bottom on the half-time announcer: Bonio, I think his name is:yummy!
