fingers crossed for a strong wind

Indeed, not looking good at all. Chances are it will be postponed as the BBC interactive forecast for this evening predicts dense and widespread fog covering the whole of London and the South East with visibility down to 15 meters in parts

After seeing the hour by hour forecast over the region just before I left the house this morning, I would now be very surprised if it is on.

Flying back this afternoon, and have a feeling I am going to be left very sickened!!

If the game is cancelled

Yeah, that's the worse thing about this.

The forecast does look very poor, I would say it is looking unlikely that the game will be played.

I believe it would have to be either 9/10th Jan.

With the Liverpool v Arsenal already being postponed and the weather forecast being on par or if not worse than last night I can really see only one outcome unfortunately

Ultimately the decision is down to the ref on the night and lets all hope it's not actually a pea souper and it gets the go ahead.

"Don't worry, there will be no dense fog tonight, in and around North London. The match between Tottenham and Southend will be on", Michael Fish said.

Actually Michael Fish has just been arrested in the Boots branch in Aylesbury for shoplifting.

He was caught by the store detective pinching a box of lilets and a pair of Police sunglasses. When questioned he said he was expecting sunny periods.

Bloody hell, I hope its on. I'm sick with nerves already, really don't want to have to go through all this again in a couple of weeks.

Just a thought. I would imagine the last thing in the world the local constabulary would want is 5,500 Southend supporters milling around the streets of WHL and the surrounding area looking for various watering holes should it be postponed.

True but with the ammount of games Tottenham have got they may want any excuse to call the game off
