After reading many peoples opinions on here, i thought that a poll was in order. I for one think he is a quality player. What do you think?

P.S. Happy New Year!

Not going to vote - excellent penalty taker, that's obvious. Apart from his pace, he hasn't got a lot. Close control is woeful.

Amazing at the start of the season and proved many people (including myself) wrong. He's been far too inconsistent of late though, but in his defence the service for all our strikers has been poor.

Grateful for his presence in the squad and am convinced the best is yet to come!

Hes a good player, i do think he will get even better, needs t start scoring more goals though, if he doesnt, he will just become the third striker.

Yeah I like him. His pace gives defenders problems. He needs to improve his touch and perhaps finish a few mores chances, but he is the basis of a good footballer.

He was excellent at the start of the season until he went out of the side. Came back, wasn't as good but I thought he was back to his best yesterday. My MoTM, ran his heart out and deserved another goal. I agree with Hambone, he can be a very good player.

Strikes me more as a winger... Naturally pacy with a sweet right foot, and if you catach him making a cross they're usually of a very high quality.

I think its clear though hes not a natural footballer, hes a natural athelete turned footballer, which is fine though as when he does run at defences they can get scared into making errors.... Like what happened yesterday.

Is a great sub to bring on in the last 1/3 to run at lost legs, and attracts attention because of his pace... I like him as a player and you can't argue at Eastwood and his partnership upfront...

Anybody who says they'd prefer Tesfaye Shambles in the squad to Gray needs there head examined... Same goes to the person who told him he could play Right wing, and his brother hes a Premier$hite defender.

I'm one of Wayne's harshest critics because if he put his mind to it he could be a real danger. The amount of time he spends sitting on his arse is ridiculous. The other down point with him is he's generally far too slow to react to the loose ball. With his pace, if he reacted quicker, he'd cause ten times the problems he does.

Ability wise, he's an average player but because of his pace and strength he'll always cause defenders problems. He just needs to be a bit more alert.

Spot on. At this level he's ideal for his ball winning in the air and his speed and strength in the chase.  He's also pretty cool headed; can't think of to many occassions where nerves have got to him in front of goal.

His teammates should recognise his strengths and weaknesses and play appropriately; knock the ball a yard past him and the last defender and watch him go.  Don't keep knocking the ball to his feet and moaning when the ball bounces six feet off of his shins/feet/thighs etc.

(Actually this last point goes for most of our players)

Happy New Year everyone, see you at Blackpool!
