Virgin Media/Sky agree deal

For anyone who has got Virgin Media, VM and BskyB have agreed a deal for all of sky's channels to go back onto VM from Nov 13. No more setanta sports news!!

Apparently Setanta have struck a deal with FreeSat whereby you will be able to buy single games on PPV instead of having to subscribe on a monthly basis, launching Jan09! The only drawback is you need to shell out probably £200+ for the FreeSat PVR box initially. However this is definitely an option for somebody like me who is wasting £10 a month on Sky multiroom as well as deeply considering a Setanta subscription!

When you're stuck with ADSL Tiscali & are 3 miles from the telephone exchange like me, streaming isn't an option!
