Vinyl records

I know there was a thread a week or so ago about Vynil records etc and how much they are worth. Got me thinking that I have loads of 12" singles and Albums in the loft, some quite rare. I never play them or give them a second glance, may as well sell them.

My question is, does anyone know of any local Record Fayre's? I know there are a few Vynil record shops left, but am sure they will offer pennies for them, and I would rather they went directly to people who appreciate them.

Ta in advance.

worth checking each and every one on discogs and ebay. quick method is to search the catalogue number. that way you'll know which ones are very rare and then you have a rough idea how much to accept at a fair or from a shop

I sold a few of my dads ones on ebay and made some decent cash

You won't get much for Vynil.

Vinyl on the other hand is quite collectable.

I have seen adverts/poster about for Record Fair's in the area, but they don't seem to advertise very well, best keep your eyes peeled and check in the vents section of the local papers, ebay & boot sales would be good places for you to sell.

Boot fairs aren't bad - sold loads of vinyl at one last year, £20 for the lot. Rarer stuff stick on ebay, if you cant sell at a boot fair, bite your lip and give to a charity shop.

I thought that looked wrong lol

exciting times! Hope you find some gems

I have a white label promo, and hopefully some rarish 80's 12" singles. I have a double Gentle Giant Album, live playing the fool, which I think is on the rare side.

All the ideas I have here are good and will run with them, especially cat no's.

I doubt there are many record fair's in the area. Selling vinyl or vynil.

While we are on the subject, are you talking about air vents?
