There was a short outbreak of racist chanting from the scum on the north bank - aimed at Southend Uniteds star striker.

It seemed an ideal opportunity for the old bill to test their dogs and horses
but when I complained at half time they were totally dismissive - although they admitted thay had heard it.

I hope the club will take it up and demand an apology.

I do not see why the individuals concerned were not ejected and/or arrested.

I hope no-one wants it brushed under the carpet.

A total and utter disgrace that reflects on everyone associated with Derby County Football Club.

You would have thought that the fans of a club reputedly in the market to buy our talented boy would have been a little friendlier to him!

Strikers always get abused, as do other good players. Freddy's big enough to take it.

there would be a strong reaction from everyone - so why should we and Fred have to put up with this.

my reaction might seem a bit over the top (i was p-ssed off at the result and how they acheived it) but I still think a line should be drawn -

sure i will be giving Donogood an earbashing for being a cheat and i will give
any player an earbashing for how they play but not for what they are -

anyway - anything for a break from the meaningless argumentative blah blah
