Seafront Parade?

After yesterday's promotion party, does anyone know if there will be a trophy parade like we did in 04-05 & 05-06?

After our previous play off Win we had to wait until well into July to get the victory parade, it would be good if it could be done tomorrow while the game is fresh in everyone's mind

I have been advised that the parade will leave at 12.30 from Roots Hall and head along the seafront. They would like to see as many banners as poss. Please PM me asap if you would like to see your banner displayed on the bus. If anyone knows about the RIP banner that was displayed please contact me in the same way.

Confirmed by SK a little earlier so all turn up and see the players, management etc.

A few players have gone on holiday but I am free to be substitute if needed.

Route and times now confirmed on club's site:

The Club can announce there will be an open top bus parade around Southend tomorrow to celebrate the Blues' promotion into League One.

Starting off at 12.30, the bus – which will be carrying the first team squad, staff and, of course, the trophy – will make its way down Victoria Avenue before turning into London Road.

The bus will turn down Chalkwell Avenue before heading down to the seafront and going along Western Esplanade at around 1pm.

Make sure you're there with your shirts, scarves and flags to give the players and staff a great reception for what have been a phenomenal season!
