Hoping the mods will allow this.
Our co-editor Neddy Beavan has had enough of Ron Martin and has opted to take a well-deserved break from co-editing Southend United's longest-serving fanzine of all time.
As a result, All At Sea requires a loyal and enthusiastic individual to help the running of the fanzine for the first few months of next season and possibly beyond.
The ideal candidate will be well-organised, articulate, attend home and away games, will not be afraid to ask tough questions of the club's hierarchy and will have some knowledge of Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro and Microsoft Publisher. A background in journalism is a distinct advantage.
You will be needed for 75 minutes prior to home matches to sell the fanzine outside the ground. We are always looking for sellers so PM me if you are interested in helping sell the fanzine for a few quid prior to games.
They must also be able to take their ale and involve themselves in legendary sessions of involvement down the Railway or Spread Eagle following home matches.
Oh and you won't get any cash. Just the knowledge that you will have the opportunity to be involved in a respected fans' publication during a period in time when the supporters are needed most.
Apply by PM.
