Not being funny but I am on the way home sitting in the back of ian the births car drinking a Stella in sorrow because we today were utter **** I hate to say it but we were **** it's not constructive I know but bollox I don't care beaten by franchise scum

I feel your pain. Would have liked to have gone today but ended up with family in the pub having an overpriced and mediocre lunch getting goal updates on my mobile. I do fear for next week against Chelski but still wish I could go. Hopefully the shackles will be off next week and we'll put in another performance to remember (for all the right reasons!) but I fear not.

Not according to Tilly

Just on the radio.

Unlucky. Disappointed. etc etc

We bossed the 1st half. He can't believe we didn't get anything out of the game, or even win it.

1st goal - not a corner
2nd goal - not a free kick
Their centre half elbowed Revell & the ref said it was a clash of heads (he should've been off I assume is Tilly's view).

Had plenty of chances Revell, Stanislaus & Barney from 3 yards & can't afford to miss them.

Looking forward to the next big game. Crewe!

Now Dan Harding

Disappointed. Thought we should've got something.

Last game & said Tilly is ringing him over the next few days to see if there is a deal that can be done. Would like to come back if the teams can agree something & has really enjoyed his time with us.

Pretty well what you would expect him to say really.

Sorry but today we looked like we were just going through the motions. We should have put away at least 2 easy opportunities, why change the back line Tilly, why? Very disappointing.

Sounds like a practice match feedback really, not the best of days to be experimenting.

Unlucky? What, again?

No we weren't we were second best. Very, very poor. Franchise didn't look much and their number 2, Stirling, was there for the skinning and was put under no pressure whatsoever.
Play like that next week and we will get a goal fest.

No we were not unlucky, we just did not put our chances away. Yes we did have more of the ball in the first half but just didn't do anything creative with it. Leading up to the first goal it was not a corner but both the goals again came from set pieces. Heavens knows what was said to the players at half time as when they came back out we had no umph, flair or creativity.

Why did Tilly also make 3 changes from the team that beat Northampton?

Only two things reminds me of Milton Keynes. 1. rounderabouts & it is always cold.

Get a feeling theres going to be some stormy times ahead, after the chelski game,to many things not right at the moment.

At which point will Tilson get under pressure?

One stoppage time free kick is our only goal in 6-and-a-half games of football.

Tilson mentions that phrase again "rub of the green". It wasn't to do with luck, it was to do with a complete lack of quality, composure and confidence in front of goal. We created plenty of chances, better ones than MK Dons but just didn't take them. It was definitely a game we could've won.

I thought we started poorly but had the better of the last 20/25 mins of the 1st half and could've been level. 2nd half was scrappy and once they got their 2nd we just seemed to give up. Very little determination or passion out there. Barnard Freedman and Stanislas all should've scored. Freedman seems scared of shooting and Stanislas was poor today, he's too selfish and his passing was awful. The crossing standard in our team is generally bad. We kept sending aimless long balls up front which is just stupid when it's Revell and Freedman up there. Francis was pants, he's simply not a winger. Why not stick with the defence from Boxing Day, Barrett was at fault for the 1st goal. I'd love Kanu back. Grant and McCormack dont work together in the middle they're too similar, we need Christophe/Sawyer asap. Only positives are that we created chances and Sankofa was solid again.

I didn't think MK Dons were especially good but they were better in posession and simply beat us with 2 set pieces. I'm not sure what Tilson is complaining about for their 2nd goal and an elbow on Revell, he obviously saw something I didnt. 'Stadium MK' has to be the most quiet, eerie stadium in the country. It's just a big lump of concrete in the middle of nowhere, with just an ASDA next to it.

Thought we had the better chances today and like has been said , if that is the standard of a team thats in the auto promotion place then this is a poor league , they were no real threat to us but we are so easy to beat away from home that 2 half chances were scored past us .

I though we did play some half decnt stuff and we looked a lot better with Freedman and Barney together , they must must must start the next few games if both fit .

Revell , sorry pal but just not good enough , chances like his one in the first half need to be put away and they change games , i believe that had he put that awy we could of won that game .

Woeful defending again from Barrett for the first goal , he lost nearly every header today and is just not good enough i believe , it was no surprise to me that when he was not playing that we looked a better unit with Francis in there partnering Clarke .

Positives , Sankofa looked a far better player than in recent times , Freedman was involved in every thing good that we done today and also Barny looked fairly sharp when he came on and also Harding is a tidy player .

Negatives , Barrett as above , Stanlios was very lightweight and got out muscled everytime he tried beating his man . Macca had a okish game but the ball he gave away before they broke for the 2nd goal was a killer and had Sankofa is all sorts of trouble as it sold him short by 5 yards and there player was in full flight running at him .

A bloody cold day and not enough effort and class by the players to show us fans that braved it that they care for this club .

It's simple for me we just don't have the team and we need to wake up and realise this in January

Too angry to post constructively at present, but I will echo the sentiments that Franchise Scum were there for the taking today...a strangely away team performance from them....kept hitting us on the break when we gave the ball away in schoolboy positions. They were a very average team who, again (like every other team except us) have a fairly rugged middle and are cynical and quite direct, but to good effect.
This game was summed up by Dougie and Barney combining to somehow miss an (effectively) open goal in the second half, stemming from a quality Harding free-kick.

I dream of the day when Tilly will have some balls and admit that we have no idea what to do with the ball when in posession, and explain why he re-arranged a defence which looked as close to comfortable as they have all season, to include Captain Ineffective again.

I have tried to remain positive, but today reminded me of three things. We have some ability, but are soft as **** through the spine of the team, and have a manager who does not learn from his mistakes.

End of rant.

I don't think you can blame Tilly for switching our defence back to it's original line-up today. Herd looked shakey the other day day and it could easily, against a better side, have gone completely wrong on Friday and we wouldn't be having this debate. The bottom line is strength in depth. Barrett will always have his place in the side as long as we don't have a spare centre back at the club (aside from captaincy). I am not prepared to put square pegs in round holes just because Barrett is off form. One sparrow does not not a summer make. We need to sign an actual centre back that makes those two in the middle actually play for their places rather than go through the motions. It is not even neccassarily their fault, as they have been very competent players in the past, but we need competition there, and until that happens, we are not going anywhere near the play-offs and we will experience afternoon after afternoon like the one we had today.
Could have won today to be honest, but we can't contain teams in all sorts of positions, not least from set pieces, away from home.
Stuff Chelsea, I'm afraid Crewe is far more important if we don't fancy slidning firmly into the bottom half.

Crap ground today too. I wish they'd just sod off.
Walking round their club shop made me sick. Just who did they support 7-8 years ago? Scummers.
