Efe's back and Rickets starts, He's huge but deceptively pacy. We appear to be playing 3- 5 -2 and it's so far all Southend.

Update. Rickets has a great first touch, 2 or 3 shots but nothing clear cut, but worringly we seem indecisive at Northampton's corner's. 0-0 crowd of around 200.

Sounds to me like a bit of good management.....If he has been out a long time no point rushing him back.

He is hardly going to play vs Sheff Wed so may as well hold him back for a week or two.

Good for Paynter to get a goal anyway and Efe to get another game under his belt. Hopefully will come into the back 4 soon.

All finished , 2-0 champagne football at the end of the game, Lawson put himself about a bit, Lewis Hunt was in the mix of things and even had a shot on target.
Cole was subbed after he was booked, Spinner was commanding at the back and had an impressive range of 20 feet when he spat out his drink.
Overall an impressive second half display from the lads.
Goal scorers HOOPER (not Paynter ) and SODJE.

Exactly.

I can see him making his first start against Brighton.

Paynter = Hooper.....he is a useful poacher, worth having on bench for last 10 mins as he did at Grays

Ricketts had a few good shots - obviously not that fit....but will he ever be....
