We are to play an Under 18s friendly v Arsenal U18s at Roots Hall this pre-season - SMS from the club

I wouldn't mind getting a bit more friendly with l'****. Maybe now we can persuade Wenger to hand over Fabregas :p

True but sometimes you go through the summer and hardly have a single text from the club until the last day of the window when we make all of our signings as usual! I quite like getting the texts as it maintains interest (and makes me look as though I have mates when I'm out and about!).

Interesting as well that the official site describes that we've got a link with them. Thought that was just an unofficial type thing due to us picking up a few kids from them? If we have indeed got a friendly link thing going on then we should really explore getting a couple in on loan from them. Kieran Gibbs would do nicely for a start.
