Two things I want to know.

There are in fact loads of things I want to know, but for the moment two of them are driving me mad....

1. What is that strange container thing for on the Cliffs along the seafront opposite the casino. It's painted in red white and blue?

2. The A130 slip road down to Howe Green was resurfaced ages ago (months) on both sides. Why are there still cones along the whole length of the road and when will they be removed?

I have much bigger worries but I've got a handle on them or I understand them. These two are just irritating and I naively thought that the clever folk on SZ may know the answers.

The "new lane" on the A130 is to ease councillors' journey into the county town, lol, it's probably the bit of the local roads that least needed "improvement"! They should have sorted out a slip road directly from the A127 eastbound on to it, in my opinion!

I can help you with the cones, I know the man in charge of Cone Collection. The reason they are still there is because he has nowhere to store them. Apparently someone has pinched the storage container. Its metal and painted red, whit and blue.....If anyone happens to see it on their travels.

Ignore the container..go into casino drink several beers whilst playing your lucky number...much more fun:winking:

You're probably right mrsb. And two posters that answered my questions did the business.

The cones are still there as the correct safety barriers are yet to be installed and it can't be opened up to 3 lanes until that's been done!

Problem is that they spent all the budget on cones and cannot afford the barriers now...
