I did see somewhere, can't remember where now, that JCR was being linked with Watford (As a replacement for Ashley Young if he leaves) and Spurs (If they miss out on Ashley Young).

What do we think would be a realistic valuation of Jamal Campbell-Ryce, bearing in mind he is a full Jamacian International and Freddy Eastwood is being touted at around the £4million mark despite never having International recognition.

not long ago people thought we'd agreed way over the odds at 110k for JCR. It's amazing really.

Did we really screw Rotherham over in their darkest hour just because we could?..... all water under the bridge now though, and on paper we got a bargain at the rumoured 30k...

I think he's come on tremendously, and wouldn't be suprised if an offer of 300k+ was to come in.

Prutton is very good, but I feel out of our price range. Southampton seem to be asking for around £400K which we may be able to stretch to but he would demand a fair old wage packet which I'm sure we wont be able to compete on that front.

Apparently its a scar - mauled by a dog

He was badly burnt at (I believe) 2 years old. The scars are apparantly from his neck all the way down his torso!

Reagrding him refusing plastic surgery, I heard he felt it was part of his character now and tha was his reason for refusing plastic surgery. Also, I'm fairly sure the scar is a burn rather than a dog attack.

Not quite sure how you could have watched the World Cup and not heard this...

On the same tangental line, Ribery's scar came from a car crash where he was flung through the windscreen.
