I need to get from Fenchurch Street to Kings Cross every day.

Is it better to use Aldgate rather than Tower Hill because the trains are more frequent?

There is a more frequent service from Aldgate as it is a terminating station for the Metropolitan Line. Trains start at Aldgate and run to Uxbridge, Watford, Amersham and Harrow on the Hill. In addition you can catch the stopping Circle Line and service to Hammersmith from Aldgate.

Yeah if that was me I would walk to Aldgate and go from there, **** walking to bank and getting the northern line for a extra minute savings

Another vote for Aldgate here. I see ESB's point about Bank/Northern Line but... the Northern Line.

Also, decent chance of getting a seat at Aldgate.

I used to work at Euston and always walked to Aldgate and used Metropolitan Line. Seat guaranteed in morning, usually get one in evening. Plus the Circle Line trains tend to wait at Aldgate before proceeding in both directions.
