Saw the advanced preview of it yesterday and thought it was very good indeed. I really don't know wwhy the papers slagged it off. It did go a bit off the tracks on the historical content, but if you are looking for an easy film to watch it is brilliant!

Hmm most people we're annoyed becuase the
1) removed the gods (they started the mess in the first place !)
2) Took out the siege of troy ! (Why would the greeks have needed the Horse ?)
3) Changed the ending .... Which i wont give out

Now lets see if they decide to make the Odyssey WITHOUT the gods.
