Saw crowd of Port Vale in town being generally loud and annoying on the beer mouthing it off to anyone and everyone in sight. Got on to Vic Avenue walking towards the ground and saw it started to kick off just outside Bar Vic few Southend lot went after them. I saw one Port Vale bloke get a few smacks but luckily none of them reacted and think it all calmed down pretty quickly in the end.

I was helping the landlord of the Spread making sure only home fans went into the pub before the match and all the Port Vale fans that were refused entry were all polite and there wasn't any hint of trouble. Most of them went down the road to the Lion so they didn't have far to go to get a drink.
 
And? If we don't give these morons the kudos of talking about it and just ignore their silly boy antics then they will eventually crawl back under the rocks they came from.

Agreed! I can't abide these little boys coming on and bragging about it "going off here" and "going off there". This isn't the forum for it ~ sod off to Shrimpers.net and the little creche of like-minded morons ...

Sounds like a tiny spot of bother but every club has its idiot fans. Luckily we dont have too many- unlike our neighbours down the road who have the combined IQ of Jade Goody!
