Trouble at Cloud Cuckoo Land Stadium

Apparently there was a deal that a property development company would build the road infrastructure for the new stadium whilst building houses nearby....

They have now decided to pull out so Col Ewe are left with nor proper roads in and out of the new stadium!!

You couldn't make it up:clap:

There is a proper road into the stadium area, the land deal for housing was subject to the developer building a junction onto the A12, because central government could not fund it for some years. The only problem this will cause is a slower exit onto the A12 through severalls lane. Of course many people will go in a different direction to the A12 and go home through other areas of the town. There is a new road being built that links severals lane directly onto the stadium site, this is almost complete.

Typo corrected ..

Of course, Severalls Lane was the rather appropriate site of the asylum in Colchester. I can only imagine the ghosts of the inmates feeling rather pleased that Col Ewe have shacked up down the road.

Got talking to a couple of people yesterday who are involved with the stadium.
Apparantly the road in is going to be called United Way and was also informed that the stadium will not be known as Cuckoo Farm
