How in hell's name can you lot say he is racist and Bernard Mannining is not, this is surely the biggest double standard of them all!

Sir Trev i admit has made a serious error here in coming out with this racist comment and yes, its wrong that he should escape punishment but on the other hand BM got away with it for years without punishment. They are both as bad as each other in my view and two wrong's don't make a right.

I find Mannings arguement that he isn't a racist but just tells jokes about race pretty feeble. I don't find him funny more for the fact that he is a one trick (joke) pony. I also don't find McDonald that funny because he is a newsreader, and he ruined a pretty witty gag. The deeper issue is that telling jokes involving a different race can be offensive on many different levels and what McDonald said was pretty cringeworthy from him, but a good joke in parodying Mannings eternal justification for his poop humour
