Transfer window?

The rumours start now. We can agree deals (ala Walker) but they wont be ours to play games until 1 July. I'm sure they can train before then as Grant trains with us and isn't our player.

It may be something to do with the "emergency loan" he was apparently on as a result of not being able to complete the permanent transfer in January due to him failing the medical. I stand to be corrected though...

Where did you get that viewpoint from OBL?

From what I understand, we can agree deals with anyone at any time in the year, it's just in the transfer window that the player officially moves. This is normally the time that deals are done, but it doesn't necesarily need to be.

We could sign 5 players tomorrow.
 
Flamini signed for AC Milan but he dosent officially become their player until July 1st.

With Walker we'd agreed a fee with Charlton before we took him on loan.

I'm obviously being a bit thick Fred, I thought the implication was that we could only sign Walker because of the ongoing situation from earlier on in the season.

I thought it was strange as according to the Sky transfer pages clubs did seem to be signing people already.

The Grant one isn't cut and dried yet. A bit up in the air as to whether he will be coming.
