Well here we go with all the latest rumours regarding SUFC and who we will sell/buy/loan during The January Transfer window.

Today's first rumour I found is that we will sign striker/winger Craig Westcarr from Chesterfield for a fee.

Can't see that myself.

Could be a decent signing, and wasn't we after him before? Maybe sturrock is going back to compete deals he missed out on in August?
 
We've already got a striker signed up right at the beginning of Jan so I am very happy about that. We now have to get Timlin in I think this is very important. Once he's signed up I think the only posistion we need strenghtening is on the wing. Someone to help Hall out on the other wing. I like leonard but he is a right back and another winger would be nice to have in the squad.

Other rumours that I have heard/may have started/seen on Countryfile are .........

Another central defender to cover for Barker and Philips (both are a little fragile at times)
Daniels to stay for the rest of the season ..........

Pleased to say there is no mention of selling players ............. oooppps, that's torn it :'(
 
Rumour of another player coming in.

Not wanting to be a Naps here but I heard from two seperate sources both of which i would think are reliable that we are about to sign another player (forward) from a Scottish L1 side.

Anyone else heard this? If true I am told it will be done any day now...

Can't say I have heard a name mentioned but I have heard plenty of talk that Sturrock has been using his contacts in Scotland to scout for players. No substance to this I might add ........... but that's true of most of the rumours on here! :smile:
