Can’t see that happening when they have last seasons top marksman and currently the NL’s record scorer (still playing in the NL) at centre forward.Bromley will probably play Hackett-Fairchild as a central striker, something MM never attempted.
Not if they’ve got any sense.Bromley will probably play Hackett-Fairchild as a central striker, something MM never attempted.

Money usually has everything to do with it.
I wonder if money has anything to do with it..
Aren't they doing a Netflix thing - could be fancying a media career

Certainly, however with PB back we ought to be more stable with much less likely quick changes of managers and longer term stability?

Yeah, seems to be. We can't compete with the likes of Wrexham and Stockport.Must be Jake Hyde.
Sigh.

The big spenders in this league tend to be located in the north, whilst there are a number of players settled in the south not keen to move home and family.Money usually has everything to do with it.
It also might be my imagination but it seems that even in the top tier of non league football players seem less inclined to move any great distance.
true, but I think most teams in this league are full time. it's very much another division of the football league these daysMany players in NL will not just depend on football to provide a source of income. They will have a job or a trade which will not only augment their earnings but also reduces the incentive to move very far. If you have a reasonably well paying job and can land a contract with an NL side the combined incomes might be well in excess of the average L2 wage. Which is why we may discover the standard in the NL is not much of a drop from where we were just relegated from.
