Traffic hold ups

You try and live without a car, having to rely on public transport is a nightmare and it won't be long before you regret making that decision.
It’s alright if you live near a train station and bus stops as I do and have shops within walking distance. I’ve not had a car for quite a few years now and don’t miss having one .. so it depends on your circumstances.

Just a warning there are lane closures at cuckoo corner so there’s bound to be long delays later especially with a large away supporter COYB
I walked past this 30 minutes ago. No actual "work" is taking place, and I saw no reason why lane closures and cones are still in place. Buffoonery adding to air pollution at the worse spot for such in this city.
It will be chaos especially after the game.

For me, it's not a black & white issue.

I have a car, I walk, I use buses & trains & I cycle.

Study after study has found that small decreases in car usage = big reductions in congestion & pollution. And that benefits everyone.

Simple things like car sharing or thinking about your journies or trying to reduce average mileage per year do help.
