Went to the Rugby at Suncorp Stadium last night - Wallabies vs All Blacks.
Really good seats, practically on the try line and a great atmosphere in the stadium. Whilst I have not been converted to the egg shapped ball it was an experience being so close to top international Rugby and seeing and practically feeling the hits in the flesh.
The All Blacks really are one of the great sporting teams in the world, much like Brazil in football, and with watching them run full tilt wearing that iconic black strip was pretty awesome.
They didn't have it all their own way though, edging a tight match last night in front of over 52,000 to win the Tri-Nations and retain the Bleisloe Cup. Of those 52,000 I reckon at least 15-20k were Kiwi's, they really are as passionate about their Rugby as we are about Football.
