Totty Cup 1 - Morning Round-Up

South Bank Hank

⭐⭐🦐
Cuthbert 4 Pinder 5 (Extra-time being played)

A real ding-dong battle with Pinder taking the early lead, only for Cuthbert to come from behind and sneak ahead herself. Excellent mid-riff display from Cuthbert, but Pinder seems to have too much for her up top. Currently 5-4 to Pinder in extra time thanks to good work from the two up-front, but this excellent tie can still go either way.

Vallance 7 Rigby 1 (late result)

One of those cup-ties where you hope for a plucky opposition to come through against all odds. Not so for Rigby, clearly out of her depth in this field, the opening drive from Vallance being enough to put Rigby on the back-foot and decide the tie from the start. Rigby's sponsor will be feeling truly disappointed this morning.

Ellison 2 Hazell 5 (late result)

Although Ellison displayed good form during the fixture, Hazell led from the front at all times and is likely to face a stiffer test when, as expected, the big-guns come out in the next round of the competition.

Kopylova 2 Hathaway 5 (late result)

In one of the less glamourous ties, Hathaway seems to have built an impressive lead. Kopylova's rugged approach and manly determination seem to have won some admirers!! but Hathaway's good form looks to have sewn things up. Can she cope in the later rounds though?

Cotton 2 Downes 5 (late result)

The unfashionable Cotton seemed to be in with a chance in the early stages of this match. However, even with her fans coming out in force, a series of own-goals has offered Downes too many opportunities.

Theuriau 5 Richards 1 (late result)

Thinking man's crumpet, Theuriau, took the lead against drinking man's crumpet, Richards, from the start and has been on top since even without breaking sweat. Excellent play from the manager, holding things back for the later rounds which could prove deadly. While Theuriau has looked classy throughout, will the lack of a striking pair lead to her undoing?

Sharapova 4 Alba 4 (Extra-time being played)

A late show from Alba has seen her come back into the match. The fine form of grunting, groaning Sharapova seemed to have been enough, but the yet finer points of Alba have led to an enthralling contest. Still time for either side to bang in the winner.

Knowles 3 Stevens 5 (late result)

Girl-next-door Stevens adopted the position of front-runner after nipping in front of Knowles early doors. While good approach play from Stevens has been rewarded, she might also be hampered in future rounds by a failure to use the pair up-front to her advantage.

Those were the pictures of Cotton, intending to help the situation, but only serving to make things far, far better for her opponent...

 :p

Some of them went down well!
I guess it's a symptom of having to be selective on pics when you don't want people to notice you checking out non-work friendly sites!
