Been on Torquays forum today and they are all celebrating promotion already.

They are up in arms that we have 1000 tickets when the home ends are sold out and they reckon we will only take around 350 fans and the only way to watch the game is to go in the away end, this could be interesting

Lets really support the blues this Saturday

Fair dues though at the below
All home ends sold out for Southend and Crewe games

1000 tickets sold for wimbledon away

already 60% of tickets sold for hereford away

Looks like their party is going to be spoiled then, and when they come to the hall they got upto 2'000 seats, what was their turn out 90+,keep it real Gulls.

To be fair to them, at that time they had lost 6 on the trot and were hovering near the bottom. Most seasons there is 1 team who get their act together, and shoot up the table after christmas. This year the accolade goes to them.

No problem with their success so far this season, just don't want Blues fans missing out on their allocation.UTB

Well lets hope Paul Sturrock reads this thread gets the players wind up for this game :-)

Saying that I thought Torquays home support has always been on the small side...

Good to see the locals supporting their local club they must be doing OAP offer I reckon

Can see us being given the whole "away stand" as they been using half of it for home fans.

The support isnt any different to what ours or any other league 1 or 2 side would be being 2nd in the league

Hello all, I just wrote a really long piece, but lost it before it posted.

In summary- you are wrong, I don't know of any Gulls who even think we will get promoted, let alone celebrating it already.

Your figures are 100% inaccurate as to ticket numbers we have sold.

We had the away end against Accrington due to ground redevelopments meaning capacity is much reduced.

We took 229 to Roots Hall.

Good luck for rest of season, barring tomorrow, and play offs if we meet!!

Where's best to drink ? We're due to arrive at Torquay station at 11 so will have plenty of time for a few beers

Best place to drink is Boots and Laces, at the ground. Very friendly, has big screens with any early kick offs on and good place to enjoy some banter before the game.

Torquay station is a good 45 minute walk or maybe best to get a taxi up to the ground. If you do walk, you'll go through town centre, which has all your standard drinking holes, definitely pop into boots at the ground if your going to be there that early though

Always had a good drink and good time in your little club house and it does lovely food on the cheap.

What time does it open?
