Top Gear Presenters

I think this new series of Top Gear is brilliant for starters. This weekends Alfa Romeo episode was very funny.

Any fans of the show on here?

If so, who is your favourite presenter?

Despite many people not liking Clarkson, I find him the funniest and witty on the show. Never ceases to make me laugh.

Clarkson has become a bit same old same old - just like me really.

I used to prefer the sghow when they did do at least one pice of serious motor journalism about a normal car that the man in the street might buy.

If something doesnt go 4 millon miles per hour, Clarkson doesnt seem interested. The little bloke seems to have little bloke syndrome which is presumably why he jumps about and shouts so much.

James May is my favourite.

They all play off each other so well, I think they have the best 3 presenters. If one left and they changed with someone else it just wouldn't be the same.

Clarkson is my favourite always has and always will be.

I think May is the best but only just. I like the way they always seem to pick on May and he just takes it. Like smashing into his car when they park and then rubbing cheese all over the engine, quality!

Article in the paper today saying that Hammond & May are refusing to sign extensions to their contracts unless they get close to Clarkson's £2mln p.a. salary. Apparently, they're on a lowly £350k or something.

Plus, Clarkson owns some of the rights to Top Gear. Nice move.

Clarkson has been doing it for years though. Since 1988, according to the wonderful wikipedia. Blimey do you remember when Noel Edmonds was a presenter on it. :stunned:

I love this programme apart from the talking bits. I love their enthusiasm when testing cars and their challenges they set, etc but i find their pre rehearsed chats tedious and irritating! I am trying to learn a lot about cars at the moment as I got a work thing at the Motor Show in two weeks and I dont want to find the only attractive part of the amazing cars the colour!
