Obviously underestimating us, which is fine by all means... A lot of managers became unstuck last season by doing the same last season, Who can Forget Ronnie "Steamroller" Moore?

But how dare he question the cuisine of the Fish Shop!

I had fish and chips when I visited Grimsby on that fateful day 13 months ago and I didn't think they were that nice....

Seriously, let him think that Grimsby will be a good warm up for playing against us - it'll be nice if we prove him wrong on August 5th.

Is it really that derogatory of us?

He does say that the stadium and pitch will be similar. From memory of Blundell Park, I'd say that our grounds are reasonably similar.

I doubt that he is assuming for one minute that the standard of teams will be similar.

Roots Hall may be no Nou Camp, but it's certainly streets ahead of Blundell Park!

Hmmm.

Both all seater, both apparently with seats bolted on to former terraces, both fairly similar capacities, both plenty of restricted view seats, both set in residential areas, both by the seaside. I could go on (but I don't know any more comparisons).

Of course, there is a record that the staidum at Blundell Park actually holds. No prize available for the winner I'm afraid.

As for the fish and chips, I reckon you all must have gone to the wrong place!
