Tonights Team Line Up

I might as well set the ball rolling with tonights formation.

My preferred line up for tonights game would be as below
- bring in young Nicolau on the left switching Gower into the middle and play Corbett up front alongside Bramble.

GK Flahavan
RB Jupp
LB Wilson
CB Barrett
CB Prior
RM Pettefer
CM Maher
CM Gower
LM Nicolau
CF Bramble
CF Corbett

Is this what we think it'll be? Or what we want it to be?

What I think it will be:

GK: Flahavan
RB: Jupp
CB: Barrett
CB: Prior
LB: Wilson
RM: Pettefer
CM: Maher
CM: Hunt
LM: Gower
ST: Bramble
ST: Gray

Subs: Edwards, Corbett, Eastwood, Kightly, Nicolau

What I want it to be:

GK: Flahavan
RB: Jupp
CB: Barrett
CB: Edwards
LB: Wilson
RM: Corbett
CM: Maher
CM: Pettefer
LM: Gower
ST: Bramble
ST: Eastwood

I'm trying to advocate Nicky Nicolau's role as a left winger - last season we knew he had defensive frailties but I am sure he would give us an excellent attacking option down the flank.
My team selection at the start of this topic is what I want it to be but unfortunately I think Hunt will be deployed in midfield tonight........

I'd like to see Tilly play this formation:

.................Flahavan
Jupp.....Prior............Barrett.....Wilson
Gower....Pettefer......Maher......Corbett
...........Bramble........Eastwood

However, I think that Tilly is more likely to start with this:

.................Flahavan
Jupp.....Prior............Barrett.....Wilson
Pettefer...Hunt........Maher.......Gower
............Bramble......Gray

I'd like to see this:

Flahavan
Jupp Edwards Barrett Wilson
Corbett Pettefer Maher Gower
Bramble Eastwood

but Tilly will end up going with this:

Flahavan
Jupp Prior Barrett Wilson
Pettefer Hunt Maher Gower
Bramble Gray

I'd like to see this:

Casillas

Thuram Nesta Cannavaro Carlos

Zidane Vieira Gerrard Ronaldinho

Ronaldo Raul

But I think Tilly will play

Flahavan

Jupp Prior Barrett Wilson

Pettefer Maher Hunt Gower

Bramble Gray

I think Tilly will play

Flahavan
Jupp
Barrett
Prior
Wilson
Pettefer
Maher
Hunt
Gower
Bramble
Gray

Id like to see

Flahavan
Jupp
Edwards
Prior
Nicolau
Pettefer
Maher
Hunt
Gower
Bramble
Corbett

Gerrard's injured, I'd therefore bring in Maher in his place.....

You guys, but come on.....why Corbett. (The winning penalty aside).  He looked a touch overwight v Notts while Gray, yes, was missing chances galore in the same game but against Col U looked pretty lively.  Let's give him a go and if he fails Clint can come on a score a hatful.....or one.

So much for competition for places eh? A couple of injuries, certain players out of form and yet we already know what the team will be!
