Our heroes have the chance to achieve something that hasnt been seen by a Southend side for over 13 years tonight..

We all know what it is..

1st position...

We are now entering the most important 5 weeks this club has seen in many many years now and I for one havent been this excited and nervous since "that" penalty shoot-out against Notts County all those years ago!!.

We all need to play our part, starting tonight against Brizzle.

This is going to be a tight game, no doubt about it and we will all be without finger nails by the end of it i expect, but thats what its all about!!.

So, "Come on, lets be 'avin you!".. get behind the boys right from the off tonight, dont get on their backs if it is going wrong...encourage!!.

Lets make Roots Hall a cauldron of noise and really spur the boys on to the top of the league.

Can't wait for tonight, havn't been this nervous or excited about a game for ages. No doubt its going to be the same for every match until the end of the season.
