Hammell is definitely out, with Barrett also... so would you pick to play left back tomorrow?

I think this is impossible. Can anyone say if any of them (apart from Che) have ever played left back. Thanks

i just added all our defenders to give people the option... clarke played full back for everton quite a bit, and sodje played left back in the World Cup!

However I'm sure it will come down to Hunt, Che and maybe Clarke

I would pick three CB's tomorrow; Clarke, Sodje, Spinner.
Full-backs; JCR, Gower.
Midfield; McCormack, Maher, Hunt.
Forwards; Eastwood, Bradders.

Obviously this isn't going to happen however with no real decent LB option it would kind of solve the problem.

and no foran??

Not a fan of 5-3-2 (which is what 3-5-2 invariably ends up as), but if you had to play it surely you'd go with Hunt (right) and JCR (left) as the wing-backs and Gower, McCormack and Maher in the middle?

It would add more problems than it would solve.

3 centrebacks doesnt work. Defenders dont like it, they are used to having full backs to cover the wide areas and confusion sets in.

QPR used 3 centre backs against us and Reading used them against Man Utd to dramatic effect.

Id rather have a poor left back than 3 decent centrebacks playing a role they arent comfortable with...

i think tilly will go for wilson again, but my point is we should never be in this situation of having only one LB worthy of the name.
