Today's Echo

Hmmm, 2 strikers & one midfielder. Doesn't sound promising for anyone who wants Paynter back. Lets hope one of the stirkers isn't Owusu & that he has opted for QPR as per the other thread!

One player out of contract, could be Paul Hayes as he's OOC at Barnsley, as usual we're just left to speculate who exactly we're talking to so I wont go any further.

Yep would seem to signal end of Paynter, a great shame conisdering how rubbish Harrold and Bradbury are. Hopefully Bradders will go.
Please let these strikers be pacy ones who know where the goal is.

Well judging by Brush's comments last week you would think one will be a pacy forward, while the other might be a ball winner like the Goat was!

Not wanting to start another Wayne Gray love-in but it was scary how many balls in the air he won at forest the other night!

I really hope Yeovil make it up and Gray stays to make an impact in the Championship.

I too hope Yeovil go up so we can watch Wayne Gray fall over a bit, overcross the ball a bit and score a few token goals which will hopefully put an end to this debate.

Well thank God for that, It's not even June and we're talking to potential targets... Meaning we've already had some sort of arrangment with their clubs,

At last, Tilson's learnt that getting the players in early means not only are we assured of having these players, but they've got more time to settle in and meet with the squad who aren't on holiday. We just might not have another Paynter fiasco here....

Yessssssss! He's learning!!!!!!!

"We still have a lot of time to sort things out but it would be nice if we could get a couple of new players in a bit earlier on this season."

Any idea who this Midfielder could be, guys?

I think one of the players is Charlie Mcdonald, 27 goals in the conference last season. I have a very strong source on this one as well.

Could be Hayes by all accounts considering where he's been playing for Barnsley this season. In an ideal world it's Jay Tabb... Tilson would have enough faith in Macca, Maher and Moussa and his fondness of playing Lewis Hunt In midfield, added to the fact we've already made a move for Whelpdale it's more than likely to be a Winger.
